Take me...Take me!

It always makes me feel better to cut flowers from my garden.
As I walked by these lovelies this morning they said, "my turn, my turn!"
Quiet the spirit lifter.
Another lifter today...going to shoot my guns.

Hope you have a wonderful spirit lifting day!
Until my next blog...

Veggie boxes ... we shall see.

It was actually fun doing this little project.

This is what I wanted to do this year for our veggies...

But this is what I settled for...smaller versions of it...I hope they are not too small to work.

I have planted cucumbers, tomatoes, a sweet banana pepper, and squash. As they get larger I will tie them to a trellis for support.

Exciting day, uh? LOL

But yum-mmmy later in a few weeks.

Until my next blog. Have a good evening.

Whew, Puff, Puff, Yes! , and good hair day.

I think you'll like my new trial version collage photo tool. I get to show it off with the ventures of my day...
Started out with a wonderful (puff, puff!) walk in Percy Warner Park. Walked for over an hour in beautiful surroundings with trees so big I could not even wrap my arms around it. As you can see the trail was over rugged terrain, up and down many hills. A great work out. Whew!

Then I found two great buys at Good Will. Yes, I shop at Good Will and proud of it. Just look at these treasures. I save a lot of money finding good 'stuff'.
We needed some bowls this size and they match the kitchen perfectly.

And I needed a tray to go on our ottoman out on the porch. Perfect! A big $3.00 Yes!!

Good Hair Day
And then last thing the day held was going with my sister, BB, to my daughters hair salon to get her hair cut. While there I got her to wash and blow dry mine too. A nice visit with her and a good way to end the day.

A SHOT and a WALK

I started out today with a wonderful stroll through the garden. I'm getting pretty good at coffee in one hand and camera in the other.
Come stroll with me and see what I found. God's beauty never ceases to amaze me.

What a great time we had yesterday at the shooting range. I am very proud of my husband for taking me. He's so allergic to the burning gun powder in a closed area but he hung in there and did it for me. And then we topped it off by going out to eat afterward. I love you, honey. Thank you for a wonderful time! He is a good teacher and critiqued me kindly. And by the way, he is doing fine with no lasting affects from the fumes.
YEAH!!! That means we get to go again.

Until the next blog....
Have a wonderful day

Graduating Gracie

We had a great time last night seeing our 3rd grandchild receive her diploma.
We are so very proud of her and wish her well on her journey in life.
I've also posted more of her artistic ability. Enjoy

And here she is in hat and gown!

Guns and Roses

Crimson Rose

.410 Mini Pump Shotgun
.25 Automatic Pistol

I've decided to bring out my Annie Oakley spirit and see what happens.  I have two new guns. A shot gun and a pistol.  I've been able to go target practice a couple of times and looking forward to another soon.  Hope to take a safety class this month...then a carrying permit.

I have festering splinters in my hands from dead heading my roses yesterday.  Maybe I have too many!  It took me so long to baby those babies!  But they are pretty, bring me much joy so worth the trouble.

Well, that's about all the news I have to share for today though the day was full of more.
We are going to our granddaughter's graduation Friday evening.  Pics soon!  Gracie is our fantastic artist in the family.  Her work is awesome.  I don't think she is going to pursue this in her studies but treat it as more of a hobby.  We shall see.  You know how minds can change. I'm showing a sample of her artistic ability.  Amazing I think. She has not finished this one but I think it already looks remarkable.
